Strand 3: GEOMETRY

Shapes and Space

1. MEASURING AND CLASSIFYING ANGLES

Here, we will learn about the different types of angles such as acute angles, obtuse angles, reflex angles and right angles.

We will also learn how to use the protractor to measure and draw angles such as 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°,120°, 150°, 270°, 300°, etc.

2. COMPLEMENTARY AND SUPPLEMENTARY ANGLES

In this lesson, we will apply the fact that complementary angles are two angles that have a sum of 90°, and supplementary angles are two angles that have a sum of 180° to solve problems.

3. ADJACENT, SUPPLEMENTARY AND VERTICALLY OPPOSITE ANGLES

In this lesson we will use adjacent, supplementary and vertically opposite angles to solve problems

4. CONTRUCTION OF A LINE SEGMENT PERPENDICULAR TO ANOTHER LINE SEGMENT

5. CONSTRUCTION OF THE PERPENDICULAR BISECTOR OF A LINE SEGMENT

Kindly check on the lesson later as our website is still in the process of being built. Thank you.

6. COPY AND BISECT AN ANGLE

Kindly check on the lesson later as our website is still in the process of being built. Thank you.

7. CONSTRUCTION OF ANGLE 90° AND ANGLE 45°

In this lesson we learn how to construct angle 90° and angle 45° using a pair of compasses, a ruler and a pencil.

8. CONSTRUCTION OF ANGLE 60° AND ANGLE 30°

In this lesson we learn how to construct angle 60° and angle 30° using a pair of compasses, a ruler and a pencil.

9. CONSTRUCTION OF ANGLE 15° AND ANGLE 75°

In this lesson we learn how to construct angle 75° and angle 15° using a pair of compasses, a ruler and a pencil.

10. PERPENDICULAR LINE SEGMENT, PERPENDICULAR BISECTORS AND ANGLE BISECTORS

Kindly check on the lesson later as our website is still in the process of being built. Thank you.
